I specialize in the care of adults living with schizophrenia and related disorders, bipolar and depressive disorders, trauma‑related conditions, anxiety, OCD, substance use disorders, and those needing continued stabilization after psychiatric hospitalization.Born and raised in New Orleans, I am honored to care for the community that has shaped me. Through virtual care, I can provide psychiatric services to adults throughout Louisiana, expanding access to compassionate, high‑quality mental health support.I attended the University of New Orleans, where I studied biology and chemistry. I earned my medical degree from Louisiana State University Health Sciences Center in New Orleans and completed residency training through the combined LSU–Ochsner Psychiatry Program. I have been board certified by the American Board of Psychiatry and Neurology since 2014.Much of my work has focused on the treatment of complex psychiatric illness and supporting individuals during vulnerable and transformative periods of life.My approach emphasizes thoughtful diagnosis, careful medication management, and treatments that promote long-term stability and recovery. I prefer to treat conditions without the routine use of sedatives or stimulants when safer and more sustainable alternatives are available.
